A carefully curated week showcasing the finest sections of the Canal du Midi — from the cassoulet capital of France to the shimmering lagoons of Marseillan on the Mediterranean coast.
Starting in Castelnaudary, this tour passes through all the canal's greatest highlights. Spend a night in Carcassonne to visit its UNESCO World Heritage Cité, cycle through sunflower fields to Homps, and choose between the Roman city of Narbonne or the intimate towpath route through Mirepeisset. Finish in Marseillan, a charming harbour town on the Étang de Thau — gateway to the Mediterranean.
